History of all-Ukrainian charitable fund "Oasis".
In June 2003 I worked as a volunteer in camp for orphans in the Khmelnytskyy region, Ukraine. That was the first time I was exposed to the lives of children in an orphanage. Most of the children were kind, friendly and easy-going. The avoidants were not an exception which made our communication not an easy thing. The difference between these children and children that live in families is apparent. Just consider their "royal” belongings: a bed, a shelf a shared wardrobe, second hand clothes, food in an orphanage canteen, constant morals and "life-on-a-schedule”. I just imagined myself in their shoes just for a moment…, and realized my childhood was a happy one as far as I was loved by my parents. I could feel their care and attention. It was the first time I thanked God for my parents. Once, on a sunny summer day, I saw a girl sitting on the porch and sobbing. I asked her ‘What happened?’ She ran away without any respond. Her friends told me she had a birthday that day, and yet none congratulated her. It cut me to the heart! I felt so sorry for these children realizing their need in true and happy childhood. At that moment I came up with the idea of arranging Happy Birthday Party in orphanages. Upon my return to Kiev I told my friends about the orphans, as well as shared my ideas. We started praying for God’s assistance regarding this issue. Just in three months we had some funds for our first trip. In a year we have already been conducting Happy Birthday Party in the orphanage in Kirovogradsk region.
In spring 2005 I worked as a trips coordinator with the charity fund. I was responsible for two-month trips arrangement to Spain. The children that have visited Spanish families said it was a wonderful time and they are looking forward to meeting their host families again. Later the directory of the fund quitted the project and I decided to establish my own charity fund. On November 24, 2005 there was called a meeting of the founders, and in 4.5 months Oasis fund was registered at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
Our main goal is to help orphans being self-confident and to teach them about the right reaction to different life situations, thus showing them that God loves them!.

Objectives, subject, tasks and activities of the Fund "Oasis".
1. The objective of the Fund is charity and all kinds of moral, material and financial help for orphans, children from incomplete families and the ones, whose parents lost their paternal rights, for families with many children, those, who are in need, and poor provided layers of the ukrainian popullation as well.
2.The subject of the Fund is the assistance in fulfilment of whole-country, regional, local and international programmes, aimed at improving the social and financial position of orphans, children from incomplete families and the ones, whose parents lost their paternal rights, for families with many children, those, who are in need, and as well.
3. The main tasks of the Fund are:
3.1) assistance in legal protection of orphans, children from incomplete families and the ones, whose parents lost their paternal rights, for families with many children, those, who are in need, and poor provided layers of the ukrainian popullation as well.
3.2) assistance in getting education, medical treatment for orphans, children from incomplete families and the ones, whose parents lost their paternal rights, for families with many children, those, who are in need, and poor provided layers of the ukrainian popullation as well;
3.3)arrangement of resort journeys abroad for orphans, children from incomplete families and the ones, whose parents lost their paternal rights, for families with many children, those, who are in need according to the laws of Ukraine;
3.4)assistance in protection of motherhood and childhood;
3.5)socialogical and pedagogical assistance and new forms of work with orphans, children from incomplete families and the ones, whose parents lost their paternal rights, families with many children, those, who are in need,arrangement of special refreshing events;
3.6)assistance in up-bringing young generation in the spirit of kindness, respect for the old, formation of stable and positive attitude towards studies, work;
3.7)assistance in spreading the ideas of peace,mercy,goodness,christian spiritual values;
3.8) assistance in the spheare of health protection, sports, tourism, spreading the idea of healthy way of living;
3.9)assistance in spiritual,cultural, social and financial development;
3.10)establishment and development of links with similar organizations in Ukraine and abroad.
4. For the fulfilment of the following tasks according to the law, the Fund has a right :
4.1)to make suggestions, exert before the local authorities and the others as for fulfilment of its objectives;
4.2)to represent intersts and protect the rights of the members of the Fund and assist in charity as well;
4.3)to establish and develop humanitarian nd professional links in Ukraine as well as in other countries,exchange the information, experiences;
4.4)to seach and encourage volunteers for cooperation;
4.5) to define independently forms,objects and volumes of charity, affirm, fulfil the programmes, including sacrifices and contract of charity;
4.6)to spread the information about Fund's activities,propagandizeits objectives, tasks,name and symbols;
4.7)to make contracts and othe kinds of agreements with local authorities,citizens and organizations for the fulfilment of the tasks of Fund;
4.8)to be a founder or a member of unions and other organizations, which assist in fulfilment of the tasks of Fund;
4.9) to be able to create faculties and departments;
4.10) to organize a free will charity, investments from physical and juridical persons,foreign organizations and other resourses for the fulfilment of the tasks of Fond;
4.11) to be a receiver of humanitarian aid;
4.12)to establish the mass media,interprises and organizations on the right of juridical part,assist in publishing activities and to be a subjec for the fulfilment of the tasks of Fond;
4.13)to participate in the activities of the similar international charitable organizations;
4.14)to organize free competitions, charitable festivals, concerts,auctions and other charitable events according to the law;
4.15)to establish honourable rewards for whose who assist much in the fulfilment of the tasks of the Fund.
5.The main forms of fulfiling the charitable activity of the Fund are :
5.1)systematic or one-time material charitable help to receivers in accordance with the law;
5.2)financing of the certain aimful charitable programmes in accordance with the law ;
5.3)assistance on the basis of a contract or an agreement about charity;
5.4) presenting or permission for free(privileged) usage of the possessions in accordance with the law;
5.5)assistance in a form of volunteer work or free services in accordance with the law;
5.6)assistance in a form of services, personal work, passing the results of creative work in accordance with the law;
5.7)taking the responsibityof the free, complete or partial care about the charitable objects, used for the charity in accordance with the law.
